Drewett Works wins Luxe Regional RED Award for Outdoor Spaces for STRATA, a private family retreat epitomizing modernist design in the Sonoran Desert.

The 70,000-square-foot contemporary residence was built on 250 acres in north Phoenix and is surrounded by saguaro cacti and breathtaking mountain vistas. Its large-format pocketing glass doors open to luxurious patio settings, reflecting water features, an Olympic-size swimming pool and native desert flora.

STRATA also won Luxe Regional Awards for Interior Architecture and Bathroom, both designed by David Michael Miller Associates.

The annual Luxe RED Awards (Residential Excellence in Design) recognize and honor excellence and innovation in residential architecture, interior design and landscape architecture across the country, as well as the latest product introductions.

In conjunction with Luxe’s Editor-in-Chief, Pamela Jaccarino, a multidisciplinary panel of industry experts reviewed submissions. Each project was evaluated according to aesthetics, creativity and regional relevance. After receiving more than 1,600 entries, the panel selected regional winners across 10 project categories and national winners across 13 product categories.
