Jay Sciarani, AIA, NCARB – Project Manager

We affectionately refer architect Jay Sciarani as our “Young Gun” because we jumped at the chance to bring this ASU graduate’s talents and abilities into the fold at Drewett Works. And we’re not referring to his basketball skills, although rumor has it he’s a mean 3-point shooter.

Jay distinguished himself among his peers while a Graduate Assistant working towards a Master of Architecture at ASU and at the University of Nevada where he earned a BS in Architecture. Notable also is his already 10-year career in the fields of construction and architecture. But there are more reasons this man can be called a young gun. He grew up in the wild west of Nevada, working on his father’s ranch. Growing up in a small town with a big farm family has shaped everything about Jay, but most especially his work ethic and devotion to family.

Although he might be a small town guy, his big dreams include travel to every country outside the US to experience cultures around the world, expanding his acceptance and self-awareness and embracing new ideas and ways of problem-solving. His love for architecture stems from the ability to influence the daily lives of strangers, creating an impact on the world around him even after he’s gone. Jay recently tied the knot with long-time girlfriend (and architecture graduate) Nadine Arteche.

Wanna get to know Jay a little better? Here we go.
